*-The earth colored wolf ran across the plain...towards elsewhere. Now the only thing seperating her from elsewhere was one long deep frozen river. If only I could get across. The vixen thought she decided to look around for a good place to get down there. The whole incline was rough. She had a hard choice to make... But elsewhere was waiting and she had traveled this far and she wasn't about to turn back...not when she was so close..she was sure she was.
The vixen finally found a less steep part of the inclne down towards the frozen monstrosity infront of her. Paws walked slowly down slipping once or twice but quickly regaining balance. Sudnelly out of nowhere the wolf lost her footing and started tumbling down the cliff head over heals. The sharp rocks and twigs sliced her through her earthen coat...some cutting deeper than others Please don't let me die! Was all that escaped the fair wolf.
Almost at the end...A jagged bit of ice hung out. Try as she might to change her course she couldn't. The deadly dagger poked out threatingingly at her...and she was headed right for it! The dagger sliced her on her head so hard that a full cry escaped her. She slid all the way across the frozen mass and landed head in the snow on the other side.Had she made it..to elsewhere?
The vixen looked around her just ahead was a clear meadow...and overlooking the meadow was a very inviting forest...was it...elsewhere? It looked like all of the storys her grandsire had ever told her...but was it here?
She struggled to her feet. Inspite of her injuries she had a small flicker of hope that after all these years of searching she had found it.
And so the story begins...
