The female stumbled over rocks and breaking branchs as she went. The steep incline kept rising and she was in no condition to climb. She was scratched and bloody having been just in a fight.ok I just have to make it to the top... Rain whinced again as the pain shot through her. finnally at the top she found a hollow where she was very content just to lay down and rest and wait for her fate. Wherther it be death or something else she didn't care she needed rest so she curled up and fell into sleep.

Allanon had caught a new scent on the breeze and was now in pursuit of its source. He padded up the incline, ignoring the sharp shale that stabbed at his paws. He ducked under pine branches, evergreen needles clinging to his ebony pelt as he passed. As he neared the top of the hill, the scent grew stronger. Slowing, he cautiously entered the hollow, audits and orbs scanning the area for any sign of danger. All that met his gaze was a battered ball of fur lying in the center of the clearing. Not having the heart to awaken the exhausted figure, he settled back on his haunches a few paces away from it. Twin amber moons remained fixed on the stranger as he stood watch over it.
Poor child. Sleep in peace while you can. Let not the Reaper visit you in your dreams tonight. Rest, your journey is completed. You have traveled far and seen much. I can afford to wait a few more moments to meet you, Allanon said, his voice as quiet as the breeze through the oaks, void of its usual malice.

The wolf awakened. She scented an unfamiliar scent in the wind one of a male wolf...one of her kind. She looked up startled to see the largest blackest wolf she had every seen. she scrambled back a few steps but then decided that he didn't seem like a preditor. She quickly decided to introduce herself and not show the fear that she hoped wasn't showing in her yellow eyes
" Hello was I intruding here?"
Rain asked trying to keep her voice level and light. She starred at him waiting for an answer

A crooked smirk crossed Allanon's maw, a faint glimmer of pearl shimmering from behind parted leathery lips. He bowed his cranium, attempting to hide a snicker. The lupa's frantic movement and the fear the shone brightly in her eyes amused him, but tried not to be rude by showing this. Instead, he tried to disguise the act of hiding his mirth as a nod of greeting. Raising his shadowy head, he brought his piercing gaze to bear on the startled creature before him.
Greetings, lupa. Relax, you have naught to fear. Had I desired to do you harm, I would have done so while you slept. Don't worry about intruding upon this land. The terra in which you rest is No Wolf's Land, a land that is under no wolf's rule where are are equal and all are safe. But I am being rude. Allow me to introduce myself: I am Allanon, Lord of Druid's Ridge. May I inquire as to what your calling is? If it not too painful a subject, how did your pretty pelt become so damaged?
Allanon fell silent, head tilted to the side in inquiry, as he waited patiently for her reaction.

Rainha starred at him, his question was not that of which a harsh and brutal male would ask so she decided even though she would stay on her guard she would not be as fearful as before. For now she would consider him as a potential friend
" I be Rainha, Allonan that is what they call me."
She told him she finally got her golden eyes to stare into his without being scared to death. Well he looked kind enough yes she decided this was good this was elsewhere and it was very nice and as far as she was concerned the leader of elsewhere seemed very friendly...atleast for now.

He could see some of the dread fade from her optics, though her form was still quite tense. This was the first wolf Allanon had seen in these parts in...ever... and the last thing he wished to do was scare her away. Trying to put her at ease and make her relax, he stretched low until he melted from being seated to sprawling on the earth. It felt strange to him to leave his guard down around a stranger, even though this one wasn't at her strongest, if her wounds were any evidence.
Rainha, is it? Tis a pleasure to make your aquaintance. Tell me, Rainha, how did you come to this lands and how did you come to be so cut up? You do not have to answer if the subjuct brings you sorrow. I realize that many have demons in their pasts that they wish to leave hidden.

Rainha looked at him. What did she have to hide? Her life was like a open book...well sort of.
" Okay so there was this monstrosity of ice in my way and I had to get across somehow. I fell down a hillside and got cut on ice and twigs thats why I'm so cut up. I come from the northern mountains way that way."
Rainha looked in the direction she was talking about
" Also I have no demons...I think well I'm not sure but if I'm not sure then I must not right?"
Rainha realized all to late that she had let her mind speak again and it wasn't very ladylike and very rude to do so.
" I appologize if I was rude."
And who knew maybe this wolf wouldn't mind her outbursts. If so she knew they would be better friends than she had expected they would be.

A chuckle shook Allanon's frame and his golden orbs danced with mirth.
Sorry, I am not laughing at how you received your injuries. I can vouch for the treacherousy of the trails in this realm. Rather, I am laughing at your apology. You don't need to worry about being rude. If you offend me, I will let you know. It is good to hear that you have no demons in your past. Life is much more enjoyable without them.
The merry fire that glowed brightly in his eyes faded in an instant as his focus faded into the past. His mind wandered for an instant before he brought himself back to the present.
Rainha, would you like to join my pack and live here in Druid's Ridge? You may also stay here as a lone wolf, if that is the path you must choose.

Rainha looked at him. He seemed nice enough to trust. And why not she was too weak to run away anyway and besides she liked it here.
" Allright then Allonan, I will accept your offer. but you must know I am a very social wolf and I would prefer not to be a loner if thats alright?"
Rainha asked sincerely hoping he would say yes and that she would not be a loner. Sh eseemed to like this particular wolf's company and would like to get to know the king of elsewhere, Allonan, a little better.

Allanon quickly shook his broad black head.
Nonsense! Never would I force one to become a loner. To dictate such a fate is resigning a wolf to a life of hardship. No, a wolf will only be a loner if they freely choose that fate or if they are so loathsome that no pack desires their company. Please, I would rather enjoy it if you remained in my pack. It has been long since I have been graced with another’s company.
Brute smiled softly, banner waving slowly. Perhaps it was loneliness that was causing this intense kindness in Allanon or maybe it was the quiet innocence of the femme. In either case, he felt as though he could not abide speaking a harsh word to her.
