Tala slowly approached the small group,testing the air for the usual smells that would tell that everything was alright. A new scent wafted to her, and she showed herself warily. Stepping out of the shadows , and into the moonlit night. She had every hair perfectly groomed, and put in place. The light of the moon turned her sleek pelt into silver, radiating it, giving the appearance that she was glowing. She walked forward to Allanon, her usual sarcastic grin on her well carven face.
"So, Allanon, who is this?" she asked.
She turned to the black female known as Seika. She eyes cold, and slitted slightly.
(YAY! I'M BACK! sorry for the bad post)

[Welcome back! Again! Don’t worry about bad posts. Everyone has off days. And I didn’t think it was that bad]
A warm light crept into Allanon’s optics as he saw the radiant figure of Tala. She’s back…she came back. I thought she had gone for good. Vanished without a trace, only to rematerialize as a ghost in the moonlight. He kept his musing to himself, deciding it would be better to question her at a more opportune moment. He mirrored Tala’s sarcastic grin.
“Evening, princess,” he said teasingly, wondering if Tala would object to the pet name as she often had. “Looking perfectly manicured as always. Would that explain your tardiness? This is Seika, an uninvited guest who we have yet to decide what to do with. There, you are now up to speed.”

Faded hid a roguish grin as she watched the exchange between Allanon and Tala, the white she-wolf she could just barely recall. Her sage eyes glinted as she looked between the two of them and then to Seika. "What thoughts are hidden behind your mask? Your maw may not reveal much, however your eyes reveal a spark of calculation." They are cold, however a thought passing by cannot be hidden such as emotion.
~~~
Her eyes were cool and calculated though many thoughts raced behind them, each flowing in time with another. Do I dare risk it...? Or am I bound to be a wanderer for all eternity? Dammit! Stop asking stupid questions! Why do we even care? There's no use to it, they're only mongrels, just like us. Just like us. Hmm... this could be interesting. She was patient, glancing at Gevaudan before her gaze swept over Allanon and the two female newcomers. The white was the first she had seen of one without dark fur. It was different, and odd, most wolves such as those she once knew would not be so accepting of one so different than themselves. Perhaps this pack would be interesting. An experiment. Perhaps, if all went well.
Tala grinned; she had missed the pack while she was gone. That is a thought that wouldn’t cross her mind, even in dreams. Yes, I have missed them. She gave another quick lick to her coat. Her tardiness was for her to know, and posibly with carefull questioning, they could reveal some of the secretes that lie behind. She took Allanon's teasing good naturedly, and turned her brown gaze back to him. Making sure he saw the sarcastic look she gave him, she let her gaze slide back to Seika. The other female- Allanon certainly is getting more females – looked well, she must be in top physical condition to be on her own. She would be a good member in the pack. Her coat would make hunting easier. A shadow crossed her mind, she wondered if they would ever get white wolves in the pack. She sighed, this wolf would be perfect; she was shy, not wanting others to know her yet. Tala, if know one else, thought that Seika should be accepted. But who am I to decide? she thought. She would atleast make her decision known.
" Well, Seika are you wanting to join the pack?"
Seika bluntly ignored the words of Faded, choosing instead to reply to the newest addition to the odd pack.
A wolf of few words the dark fem replied, "There is no harm in it." It was not necessarily a definite answer but it was a response none the less; they could not be too angry at her. On another note, contrary to Tala's belief, Seika wasn't shy. If her eyes and nature gave way to that she would have to make it known that it was not how she was. Seika was cold, emotionless, and barred herself from the rest of the world. It wasn't that she was shy, it was just that she held a great hatred toward anyone accept for herself, even then there was a hint of animosity. She had spoken only because it was absolutely required. In the situation she was in words could not be avoided or lightly stepped around. Though short choppy sentences were replies well enough, she'd rather stay quiet.
~~~
Faded took it well, shaking her head in disappointment, but thinking differently. Her eyes are cold, words few, yet those that are spoken... she is an interesting creature, it shall be a challenge if any of us wishes to know her more. Though without emotion and with a callous attitude, she could prove to be a decent addition. However, that decision remains ultimately Allanon's. Her thoughts continued to race as sage optics passed over the group, hovering a bit longer on Seika than on those present in her pack.

Gevaudan had grown tired of this prattle. It seemed the others had been conversing for eternity without actually speaking of anything. He turned to leave and to those who would try to stop them a smile spread across his lips. A slight hunger had grown in him; perhaps he could find a rabbit to slack it. Gevaudan trotted away in search of something small. He did not wish to waste meat and a hare would be enough for now. (You should not use your own characters to compliment each other. It's just not kosher. )

[Oh, but I'm not. I am only looking at things through each character's eyes, not using them to compliment each other. That is how Faded would think is all. ^-^]
She turned to watch the large one leave, eyes glinting at she noticed the smirk adorning his maw. This pack was definately intriguing, very odd, but interesting none the less. One could come and go as they would it seemed and that in itself would make it worth Seika's while to join them. However a single question remained. Will I be asked or not?

Allanon remained silent, simply watching and listening as he thought of what should be done with Seika. The more he thought about it, the more logical it seemed to bring her into the pack. After all, she was really no different than the rest of them. So what if she remained an enigma to him, so did the rest of the pack. Perhaps time would reveal more, but did it really matter if it didn’t? The femme did appear to be in top form and her depthless eyes did reveal a spark of intelligence, traits that would be of benefit. So long as she proved useful that was good enough for him.
“Seika, would you like to join our pack?” Allanon asked, not wasting a moment more on idle chatter.

Seika had the sudden temptation to growl in annoyance but refrained from doing so. Her eyes swept over the remaining members of the group once more, pausing on Allanon for a moment before doing another sweep. The glinting raven orbs came to rest on his form again boring into his gaze. "Yes." If the offer so exists take it. There is no harm in doing so, freedom enough remains.[/i] She padded quietly closer to the alpha male, dipping her head slightly in respect that he should be granted. The bytch may have been a cold emotionless one but she knew better than to disrespect the leader of the pack she had just pledged herself to. Her back arched slightly as she dipped slightly lower, then brought herself back up. She was not near his height, though casting a slight glance upward brought her gaze level with his.
The summer night was warm and slightly humid. Senses littered the landscape with the chirps of crickets, gentle noises of small game, and hum of the wind rustling the surrounding tall emerald grass. The moon shone down upon it all casting their shadows upon the ground. Each star glittered with it's own minuscule majesty; it was wonderful. All was at peace.

Tala rested on her haunches as a silent spectator. The snowy female had her usual satirical grin on her face. Still sitting when a pack member left, she let her gaze slip to Allanon, it was short of mocking, wondering if the alpha would allow to let slip even Gevaudan from the, gathering. She watched him leave, then returned her piercing gaze back to Seika, not that the female would flinch, or waver under it. She seemed to have a shield around herself, another good quality of hers. Tala felt some jealousy seep into her mind, then angrily plugged the leak, and focused once more on the new comer. Tala's eyes flashed in accomplishment, glad to have a new member. But during this time of mixed emotions, she kept quiet.

Gevaudan found his rabbit rather quickly. It vanished with a couple of snaps. He decide to find a spot to rest. Soon he found a bush of thorns he was so found of as a hiding place. Gevaudan laid down and forced his way forward into the bush. His fur was far thicker then most and the thorns barely prick him. Gevaudan curled up and fell into a light sleep.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gevaudan did not know how long he slept nor did he cared. All that mattered to him was why he awoke. Gevaudan could faintly make out a thudding noise which did not sound like a wolf nor the beasts he had hunted with this pack. Gevaudan immediately snapped out of his drowse when he placed the noise. It was something he had encountered in the colder climates. He began to drool as his jaw fell. The memories of past meals flashed through his mind as he ran his crimson tongue along his chops. Gevaudan rose up into the bush as the blood lust started to take. He would have to get the others for, this creature was truly monstrous in size. Gevaudan saw the bony bowls that sprouted from its head come into view. It did not seem to realize Gevaudan was there. He waited for this true beast to get along side the bush. It paused for a moment and Gevaudan stoke. Leaping from his cover Gevaudan drove into its hinder quarters only to release and leap off the creature. The wound would only be a slight hindrance unlike the bite he made on the last hunt. Where the last wound had been departmental to the prey's chances but this one served a different purpose. The blood trail would be like a beacon to the beast. Gevaudan never paused as he raced back to the others. This was shaping up to be quite the night.

Allanon gave a curt nod in acknowledgement of Seika’s bow. “Welcome to the pack, Seika.” I hope I don’t regret this decision. The brute heard a rustling in the foliage behind him. He turned and cast his gaze over his shoulder. At first he thought that the sound belonged to the boisterous Aleshanee, returning to cause trouble after she tired of chasing whatever poor creature had caught her attention. Allanon was both surprised and slightly worried when he saw the form of Gevaudan crashing through the underbrush instead. Frowning slightly, he said “What is it?”

Gevaudan could barely contain himself and chuckled as he laughed,
A creature bigger then the ones we hunted before and more difficult to catch.
He licked his chops when he finished. He wanted to bring that creature down but could not do it without the others. This creature was truly huge.

Tala pricked her ears toward Gevaudan, now truly interested in what he was saying. The female's eyes got wide with interest, then returned to her cool, calm, and sarcastic. Her peircing gaze now actualy fell on Gevaudan.
What kind of creature is this?
Tala asked him. Her voice was slightly agitated, like he had interrupted something. She shook herself, and stood up, her posture as proud as always.
(sorry guys for the bad post, im still tired from our trip)

Gevaudan despised repeating himself but decided to grant clemency this one time.
Larger then the other creatures in the valley and with large bowls of bone sprouting from it's head. It may not be as fast but never tires. That is what type of best it is. I made a relatively small wound on it so there will be a blood trail but we must hurry if we want to catch it.
Gevaudan had said his part and was beginning to loose his blood-lust. This made him feel very "put out."
